Support the MML Foundation
Founded in 1991, the Michigan Municipal League (MML) Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Michigan Municipal League. The MML Foundation mission is to create and cultivate resources, partnerships, and opportunities that Michigan communities need to thrive. We support innovative work that creatively and intentionally brings people together and builds community wealth. Additionally, the MML Foundation provides project support in League member communities. With your support, we will work towards a future where local leaders with the drive to make their communities better will have access to the tools and resources needed to act on that opportunity. Support the 16/50 Project
Women represent just 16% of Michigan’s local chief administrative officers. This leadership gap is inexcusable. We’re doing something about it. Highly qualified women entering the field encounter barriers in the selection process. The next generation of female leaders is being left untapped. Aspiring managers are eager for development opportunities to advance and prepare them for greater responsibilities. Through the 16/50 Project, the Michigan Municipal League is working to address these issues. Donate to the 16/50 program today and help increase the number of women serving at the highest executive level of government.

Support Local Innovation for Tomorrow
The LIFT Initiative is a $5 million multiyear effort to strengthen and inspire communities across the state. LIFT will provide tools for League member communities that allow local leaders to test new ideas, build cross-sector relationships, and meet community needs without having to subscribe to a “one size fits all” solution.
